FAQ

Frequently asked questions about nickel alloy Fittings

Nickel alloy fittings are used to connect, redirect, branch or reduce piping in chemical processing, oil and gas, marine, power generation and other corrosive or high-temperature service environments.

Available products include elbows, tees, reducers, crosses, caps, couplings, unions, nipples, outlets and stub ends in butt-weld, socket-weld and threaded configurations.

Common grades include Inconel 600, Inconel 625, Incoloy 800H, Incoloy 825, Hastelloy C276, Hastelloy C22, Monel 400, Nickel 200 and Nickel 201.

Nickel alloy fittings can be supplied to standards such as ASTM B366, ASME B16.9, ASME B16.11 and MSS SP-95. The applicable specification depends on the alloy, fitting type, size, pressure class and connection method.

Butt-weld fittings are commonly used in permanent process piping and larger sizes. Socket-weld fittings suit smaller high-pressure lines, while threaded fittings are practical where installation or disassembly without welding is required.

Please provide the alloy grade, fitting type, size, wall thickness or schedule, pressure class, connection type, quantity, applicable standard, testing and certification requirements, and delivery destination.
