Nickel alloy strip and foil are used for gaskets, seals, springs, electrical contacts, battery components, heat shields, furnace parts and precision-formed components requiring corrosion resistance, heat resistance or controlled mechanical properties.

Both products are flat-rolled materials, but foil is generally thinner than strip. The exact classification depends on the alloy, thickness range and applicable specification, so the required dimensions should be stated when ordering.

Common grades include Inconel 600, Inconel 601, Inconel 625, Inconel 718, Incoloy 800H, Incoloy 825, Hastelloy C276, Hastelloy C22, Monel 400, Nickel 200 and Nickel 201.

Nickel alloy strip and foil can be supplied in various thicknesses and widths, including narrow slit coils and custom-cut pieces. Available tolerances depend on the alloy, temper, rolling process and ordered dimensions.
