FAQ

Frequently asked questions about nickel alloy Flanges

Nickel alloy flanges connect pipes, valves, pumps and other equipment in chemical processing, oil and gas, marine, power generation and high-temperature systems requiring reliable corrosion resistance and pressure containment.

Available types include weld neck, slip-on, socket-weld, threaded, blind, lap-joint and long weld neck flanges, as well as spectacle blinds and custom flanges manufactured to drawings.

Common grades include Inconel 600, Inconel 625, Inconel 718, Incoloy 800H, Incoloy 825, Hastelloy C276, Hastelloy C22, Monel 400, Nickel 200 and Nickel 201.

Nickel alloy flanges can be supplied to ASTM B564, ASME B16.5, ASME B16.47, EN 1092-1 and other relevant standards. The applicable specification depends on the material grade, flange size and pressure rating.

Nickel alloy flanges are commonly available in ASME pressure classes 150, 300, 600, 900, 1500 and 2500. The suitable class must be selected according to the design pressure, temperature, material and piping code.

Please provide the alloy grade, flange type, nominal size, pressure class, facing type, bore or pipe schedule, quantity, applicable standard, testing and certification requirements, and delivery destination.
