Hastelloy G-30 is a high-chromium nickel-iron alloy developed for resistance to strongly oxidizing acids, chloride-containing media and complex mixed-acid environments. Its chromium, molybdenum, tungsten and copper additions provide particularly strong performance in wet-process phosphoric acid, nitric acid, sulfuric acid mixtures and contaminated chemical streams. Alloy G-30 is commonly specified for fertilizer production, acid processing, pickling equipment, flue-gas scrubbers, heat exchangers and other severe chemical-processing systems.

Yes. UNS N06030 is the standardized UNS designation for Hastelloy G-30. The alloy may also be identified as Alloy G-30, Nickel Alloy G-30, W.Nr. 2.4603 or NiCr30FeMo.

Its high chromium content provides resistance to oxidizing contaminants, while molybdenum, tungsten and copper improve performance in reducing components and chloride-contaminated wet-process phosphoric acid.
