Alloy Comparison

hastelloy c22 vs hastelloy c276

Hastelloy C22 and C276 are both nickel-based alloys with excellent corrosion resistance. C22 contains more chromium, giving it better resistance to oxidizing chemicals and mixed acids.
C276 contains more molybdenum, making it especially effective in reducing acids, such as hydrochloric and sulfuric acid. Both alloys also resist pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.
