Yes. UNS N06025 is the standardized UNS designation commonly associated with Alloy 602 CA. The material may also be identified as Inconel 602CA, W.Nr. 2.4633, NiCr25FeAlY or Nicrofer 6025 HT.

Alloy 602CA provides excellent oxidation resistance at temperatures up to approximately 1200 °C or 2192 °F. The practical design temperature depends on mechanical stress, furnace atmosphere, thermal cycling, component geometry and the required service life.

Alloy 602CA contains higher chromium, controlled high carbon and microalloying additions of yttrium and zirconium. These additions provide higher creep strength and improved cyclic oxidation, carburization and metal-dusting resistance in severe high-temperature service.

Yes. Alloy 602CA can be welded using suitable nickel-alloy procedures and matching filler metal such as AWS A5.14 ERNiCrFe-12 or EN ISO 18274 S Ni 6025. Joint surfaces must be clean, heat input should be controlled and the interpass temperature should generally remain below 120 °C.

Preheating is normally not required. However, welded components intended for prolonged service between approximately 600 and 750 °C may require stabilization annealing. The final heat-treatment procedure should be confirmed against the component design and project specification.
